Student Services

Student Services fosters a student-centered learning environment and contributes to the academic mission of UHV. We promote student development, career readiness, inclusion, safety, and well-being. We challenge the personal and professional development of our student body, while accommodating their needs through a variety of services.

Counseling Center

The Counseling Center provides consultation and training regarding mental health issues; information about the community health center and student health insurance; and referrals to other campus and community resources available to students, faculty, and staff.

We believe that all students who attend UHV should have the same opportunities to be successful in higher education.

Orientation

As you begin to transition into college, it's essential to learn and hear from those who have been in your shoes before. Our ROAR Orientation sessions, Jaguar Journey Welcome Weekend, and other programs will provide that opportunity and more!

Testing Services

The UHV Testing Center provides a variety of testing services to UHV students and prospective students, staff, and faculty in both Victoria and Katy. The Testing Center coordinates tests with departments at UHV, education companies, and government agencies.
