Greetings from Student Affairs!
The University of Houston-Victoria (UHV) is an engaging learning environment that welcomes students from a variety of backgrounds and cultures. Student Affairs is a critical part of student life at UHV: from Jaguar Journey to cultural experiences, we exist to encourage and support students at every step of their college journey.
In Student Affairs, we provide support systems to help students resolve issues that might interfere with their educational goals, as well as programs designed to support a healthy and balanced lifestyle. We offer entertaining activities, volunteer opportunities, student organizations, recreational sports, and living/learning communities. We also expect our students to make a positive connection to the university, be responsible to self and community, and become lifelong learners. Students can expect us to support their efforts to become active, confident, and involved members of the University community.
