The Bachelors in University Studies degree will meet the following objectives:

Provide students with skills in critical thinking, innovation, inquiry and analysis, evaluation, and synthesis of information.

Provide students with communication skills including effective development, interpretation, and expression of ideas through written, oral, and visual communication.

Provide students with the ability to connect choices, actions, and consequences to ethical decision making.

The Bachelors in University Studies degree is designed for students who are seeking a multidisciplinary degree that allows them to investigate different areas of study and utilize academic coursework already earned. Bachelors in University Studies students must fulfill degree requirements such as: a minimum of 120 semester credit hours, cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.0, a minimum of 36 hours of upper division credit, including 30 hours completed in residence at University of Houston-Victoria.
