Critical and Creative Thinking

The Political Science major employs a two-track system to help students better understand the theories and philosophies of political systems that are consistent with the career you wish to pursue. The Political Science track focuses on the research behind political science and how it is done to properly integrate a theoretical understanding of the political world to the realities of the politics. The Pre-Law track focuses on the theoretical underpinnings of our legal system and its relation to the political world. Both tracks foster critical and creative thinking in the research and synthesis process. For students of all backgrounds who want to develop a diverse set of skills that can be employed in a variety of environments a degree in Political Science opens the doors to all kinds of opportunities.
