Emergency Funds
The purpose of emergency aid at the University of Houston-Victoria is to assist students with covering unforeseen emergency expenses that, if left unaddressed, could cause them to not successfully matriculate. This program is a joint venture between the Offices of Student Affairs, Financial Aid, Scholarship Programs, Student Accounts and Student Life.
Students may apply for funds when they are experiencing an extreme financial situation and have exhausted all other resources.
Emergency aid is not a substitute for financial aid. If you are seeking funding, you will be required to utilize all available financial aid resources before being awarded emergency funding.
