Center for Regional Collaboration

UHV Center for Regional Collaboration (UHV-CRC), reflects the goal of growing UHV regionally and increasing UHV brand awareness. The UHV-CRC will emphasize the development of regional partnerships and collaborations, maximizing the resources of the UHV faculty and promoting student outreach.  The new center will concentrate on Victoria and surrounding counties. The UHV-CRC will provide a neutral environment where communities and counties can come together and become involved in mutually beneficial regional partnerships. Working together, the communities will build upon the available assets and resources of the region, not just individual communities, in order to create stronger relationships, more opportunities for job growth, economic prosperity and greater stability. The mission of the UHV-CRC is to provide leadership as a regional facilitator and connector.

In May 2017, UHV received a grant from the U.S. Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration for renovation of the UHV property at the former Town Plaza Mall. The new location will house UHV-CRC offices and resource partners in the near future.
