Biography

Dr. Elise Hendricker joined the UHV faculty in 2013. She completed her doctorate in School Psychology at the University of Missouri. Her predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship were both completed at Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District. She has experience working with all ages of students in school and community settings, including alternative schools, early childhood programs and juvenile justice programs. Dr. Hendricker is a Licensed Psychologist and Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) in the state of Texas. Her recent scholarly publications and conference presentations have focused on distance education in school psychology, methods for family engagement in schools and systems change research and training competencies.
