Educational Administration and Supervision
The Faculty and Administration of the College of Education and Health Professions, in response to the challenging year that we have all had, are waiving the GRE requirement for Graduate admissions for the year (Summer, Fall and Spring 2021-22). We recognize that people may still have difficulty finding the resources and locations to take the GRE and wanted to respond to these challenges.

Graduate Certificate Preparation Program – Principal
If you already have a master’s degree you can pursue principal licensure without going through the full educational administration degree coursework. Instead, you will take five required courses toward your certification and complete a practicum/internship experience. During the initial advisement process, your advisor will determine whether you have any knowledge or instructional gaps that could have a negative impact on your success on the certification assessments. If you do, you may be required to take additional coursework.
Graduate Certificate Preparation Program – Superintendent
If you are currently practicing in an administrative role, or for those who possess a master’s degree and Principal Certificate, this program’s online format allows you to complete your superintendent certification on your own schedule and, ideally, in four semesters. You will be required to successfully complete the TExES #195 Superintendent Certification exam in order to obtain your licensure
