Dr. Ziyun Yang earned his PhD in Accounting from the University of Houston. He also holds an MPhil in Accounting from Lingnan University, as well as a bachelor's degree in accounting from Nanjing University. Prior to his arrival at UHV, Dr. Yang taught a variety of courses in financial accounting in the UH Bauer College of Business.
Dr. Yang's current research interests include financial reporting, executive compensation, and corporate governance research. He is an active member of the American Accounting Association.
