Location-Based Scholarships

 

AE & Myrtle Gunn York Scholarship: Awarded to a new, first-generation freshman or sophomore from Victoria or the surrounding counties. Scholarship is based on financial need. Student must maintain a 2.0 grade-point average.

Albert & Mary Dick Charitable Trust: Awarded to undergraduate students living in Victoria or the surrounding counties.

Ann Gibson Hunt Memorial Scholarship Endowment: Awarded to an undergraduate student from Karnes County enrolled at least half time. Scholarship is based on financial need. Must have a minimum 2.5 GPA.

Black History Steering Committee Scholarship: Awarded to a Victoria Independent School District graduate and Texas resident who is enrolled in at least three credit hours and has a minimum 2.5 GPA.

Commissioner Oscar Hahn Memorial Scholarship: Awarded to a Calhoun County resident enrolled in at least three credit hours with a minimum 2.00 GPA.

DeCora Study Club Scholarship: Awarded to a female junior or senior residing in Victoria or the surrounding area. Scholarship is based on financial need.

Dickson-Allen Foundation Scholarship: Awarded to students residing in Lavaca, Wharton and Gonzales counties. The scholarship is based on financial need and requires meeting satisfactory academic progress.

Dr. Thomas Martin Scholarship: Awarded to graduate students enrolled at least half-time from Victoria, Calhoun, Refugio, Goliad, DeWitt, Lavaca, or Jackson County with a minimum 3.00 grade-point average and proven leadership skills.

Ed & Frances Bransford Scholarship Endowment: Awarded to students enrolled at least half time with a minimum 2.5 GPA. The scholarship is for Texas residents and is based on financial need.

Ethel Lee Tracy Scholarship Endowment: Awarded to full-time students who are Victoria residents. The scholarship is based on financial need. Students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

International Bank of Commerce Scholarship Endowment: Awarded to Calhoun County residents enrolled at least half-time. Students must have a minimum 2.0 GPA.

Kay Kerr Walker Scholarship Endowment: Awarded to students from a 15-county area with documented community service.

Morgan Dunn O’Connor Scholarship Endowment: Awarded to Texas residents enrolled at least half time. The scholarship is based on financial need. Students must have a minimum 2.0 GPA.

South Texas Woman Scholarship: Awarded to a female student from Victoria, Jackson, DeWitt, Lavaca, Calhoun, Refugio or Bee counties with a significant amount of community service and involvement. Students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
