Athletic Funds & Scholarships

 

Athletics Fundraising: Funds are focused toward the greatest needs within Athletics as determined by the athletic director. If funds are requested to be used for athletic scholarships, the contribution will be split evenly between all teams, unless funds are directed to a specific sport.

Claud J. Jacobs Endowed Baseball Scholarship: Awarded to an NAIA-eligible baseball player enrolled full time at UHV. Preference is given to players coming from DeWitt, Lavaca, Gonzalez, Goliad, Calhoun or Victoria counties.

General Athletic Scholarships: Awarded to student athletes and disbursed at the discretion of the athletic director.

HP “Buddy” Clarke Scholarship Endowment: Awarded to a full-time UHV baseball player who has a minimum 2.0 undergraduate grade-point average or a minimum 3.0 graduate GPA.

Pan American Golf Association of Victoria Scholarship Endowment: Awarded to a full-time undergraduate member of the UHV golf team from Victoria or other Coastal Bend counties. The recipient must have a minimum 2.0 GPA and demonstrate a high level of community service and student organization involvement.

UHV Baseball Scholarship: Awarded to a full-time student with a minimum 2.0 GPA who is recommended by the coach.

UHV Golf (Men’s) Scholarship: Awarded to a full-time student with a minimum 2.0 GPA who is recommended by the coach.

UHV Golf (Women’s) Scholarship: Awarded to a full-time student with a minimum 2.0 GPA who is recommended by the coach.

UHV Soccer (Men’s) Scholarship: Awarded to a full-time student with a minimum 2.0 GPA who is recommended by the coach.

UHV Soccer (Women’s) Scholarship: Awarded to a full-time student with a minimum 2.0 GPA who is recommended by the coach.

UHV Softball Scholarship: Awarded to a full-time student with a minimum 2.0 GPA who is recommended by the coach.
